Hello Experts,
We are facing an issue wherein the user is trying to run CATA for an employee for period 01-Jul to 15-Oct. The user in trying to run CATA for the mentioned previous periods in Jan'14.
The employee for which the user is trying to run CATA has resigned on 28-Nov'13.
The controllling periods are closed up till Nov'13. The one for Dec'13 is still open.
When the user gives any date in Dec in field Posting date (CO/PM/CS/PS) under the "Posting Date" section, he gets the error "211 Personnel number 00055454 invalid " as the employee has resigned on 28-Nov.
If he enters any date <= 28-Nov, he gets the error "806 Transaction Actual activity allocation has been locked" as the controlling period is locked.
Our FI guys have told that the previous periods cannot be opened.
Is there any way to post the hours for previous months without opening the controlling period?
