yes, 5 different equipments, but from a business point of view and regulatory, the preventive maintenance activities are the same for the 5 equipments (hence the idea of starting from one maintenance strategy).
The reason that the external activities differ from one supplier to another can be based on the way they eg price their maintenance, for instance one supplier can put 2 activities together from a commercial point of view and offer one price for both (so one contract item), the other can list the two activities separate with a separate price (so two contract items).
If I create two different task lists I have to add the internal activities to both task lists and make sure they keep in sync, eg each time I would add an additional internal activity for my pumps I have to look for all task lists and update them all.
We have found a partial solution in the mean time, using the task list hierarchy (need to activate a business function on ECC), but that seems to work only without maintenance strategies (error if used with maintenance strategies, there is also an open thread on this issue).
