Good Eric that you touched on the forbidden practices by SAP.

1. If you do cross the line, how can SAP come to know about it? Are there ways to use INSERT and UPDATE statements and maintain database consistency in a way that SAP support warranty does not become void?

 

2. Whether creating a Stored Procedure is forbidden? I read an example somewhere which created a Stored Procedure to send an email, and this in turn was called by the Notification Stored Procedure. Some articles have mentioned that Stored Procedures are not legally allowed by SAP, whereas this article actually told to create a SP.
