I am passing some url parameters to my target application in the URL iview.
The parameters are intercepted correctly in the target application and based on that it is redirected to some other application page.
Now, this approach is working fine when I am running and testing in Chrome browser. However, the same thing do not work in IE and other browsers.
The isolation method of the iview is URL and it is being launched in a new portal window. The method to send the parameters is GET method and the fetch mode is client side.
In the target application, the app params are captured, set in the session and then it is navigated to another app page where in the session element and the params are read and the page is displayed. If the session element is null, it is navigated to the error page of the target app.
So, in our case, it works in Chrome but does not work out in IE.
The params that are being passed are Logged on UserID and Browser Language.
I checked the trace in case of IE and after receiving the app parameters when it redirects to the next page, it seems that the session is getting invalidated. But in case, if the session is not being set correctly, how does this work in Chrome is surprising.
I even tried with App Integrator iview and hard coded the url along with the parameters in the URL template property which works in the preview mode but does not work out when I launch the iview by clicking on the assigned role.
Please note that I've admin rights and I am doing this testing from my id only. Still preview of app integrator iview works but it does not work when launched from the role.
