Now I want to use IDES 4.7 on Windows 7 (64 Bit). I have installed SAP Logon 730 Pad but not able to create new connection.

Process of adding the entry in SAPlogon 730 is same like what you mentioned in your query.

I see that SAPgui is installed on VMplayer but where is the SAP IDES 4.7 running.

Is it also on VM ?

If yes, can you try to start the VM on which SAP IDES is running and check the SAPgui connection.
