Re: Production version:Alternative BOM/Alternative recipe

Hi Ibrahim,

Go to C201 to create Master Recipe. Enter the Material number, Plant and Profile. ( Profile is configured in OP84). Standard available profile also can be used.
In Recipe header enter status as 4 - Released and usage as 1 - Production
Click on operations Tab. Maintain the resource for the operation and phase relation ship, destination, standard values for the phase.
If you click on materials tab system will Pop up to insert producion version. Enter production version as 0001. Under BOM data select the releven alternative BOM and click on 'X' Close screen symbol. BOM gets copied to recipe.
Save the Master recipe.
Similarly again go to C201 to create alternative Master recipe 2. Follow above steps 2,3 and 4.
Once you click on Materials system will pop up for version then enter version 0002 and maintain the alternative 2 BOM.
Under production version you can see Lock = Not locked . If you change this as locked for any usage then that particular version will not be picked by system.Below lock you can also see lot size, here you can mention parrticular version is valid for which lot size.
Version you can also assign in Material Master -MRP 4 view by clicking on version.
